De Kleinste Campus

De Kleinste Campus is a small-scale childcare facility with two baby/toddler groups, two toddler groups and a preschool.

The shelter is part of Kindercampus Zuidas.

Kindercampus Zuidas is an Integrated Child Center for development-oriented care in Amsterdam. The activities are designed based on a shared vision.

Startingblocks

The daycare center and preschool work with Startingblocks. Startingblocks fits seamlessly with OGO (development-oriented education), the school's educational concept. Startingblocks is based on the idea that children are naturally curious, have (self)confidence and are open to the world around them. A lot of attention is paid to the way in which the pedagogical staff guides young children in their multifaceted development. In practice, this means that we work with themes.

Working with a theme is clear and concrete and also gives children many options for their own interpretation. Within the themes there is plenty of room for creativity, singing, music and dance.

Working with Startingblocks allows us to offer many extras in addition to childcare, making the connection with school smoother.

Childcare from 2 days a week

We greatly value importance to the flow of children from childcare to school. The added value of the collaboration with the school is especially effective if the children who have worked with Startbloks during the care period actually move on to the school with the same working method and vision.

Voor de voorschool geldt een minimum van drie opvangdagen per week.

The groups

We are a VVE (pre-school and early childhood education) childcare location recognized by the municipality. This applies to daycare and preschool.

The daycare center has 64 places for children divided into four groups:

Babygroup

There are two baby/toddler groups with children between 0 to 2 – 2.5 years (with a maximum of 16 child places and three permanent pedagogical staff). Babies are welcome from eight weeks.

Toddler group

There are two toddler groups with children from 2 – 2.5 to 4 years old (with a maximum of 16 child places and two permanent pedagogical staff).

The daycare center is open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

The Preschool

There is one preschool and has 16 child places for children aged 2 to 4 years. A preschool group has 16 children.

The Preschool is open from 7:50 am to 1:10 pm and closed during regular school holidays.
