De Kleinste Reus Centrum is a small-scale childcare center with a baby/toddler group, a toddler group and a preschool (de Buren preschool).

Startingblocks is based on the idea that children are naturally curious, have (self)confidence and are open to the world around them. A lot of attention is paid to the way in which the pedagogical staff guides young children in their multifaceted development. In practice, this means that we work with themes.
Working with a theme is clear and concrete and also gives children many options for their own interpretation. Within the themes there is plenty of room for creativity, singing, music and dance.
Working with Startingblocks allows us to offer many extras in addition to childcare, making the connection with school smoother.
There is one baby/toddler group with children between 0 to 2 – 2.5 years (with a maximum of 16 child places and three permanent pedagogical staff). Babies are welcome from eight weeks.
The daycare center is open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
There is one preschool for children aged 2 to 4 years. A preschool group has 16 children.
The preschool is open from 7:55 am to 1:15 pm and closed during the regular school holidays.
